We are thrilled to announce we reached our initial goal of $1,000. Thank you all for your support in honoring the first Emeritus Constitution for the People, Gene Montenieri.

We now have the opportunity to recognize our June honoree with a new goal of $15,000 that will contribute to donating 45,000 United States Constitution Booklets to 5th Grade students in Connecticut.

About Gene Montenieri

Gene Montenieri is the first Emeritus Director of the Constitution For The People, Inc. This honorary title was bestowed on Gene, March 14, 2022, upon his death. Gene was an active Director and major contributor to the success of the Constitution For The People, Inc. he was honored with bearing the name Gene Montenieri Constitution For The People Golf Ball Drop which is the major fundraiser of the non-profit educational organization.

Gene had an illustrious career in retail sales and has served on many Boards including: National Advisory Board of Grace for Vets, a U. S. Veteran service organization.

Gene began his career in Connecticut in Retail Store Management in 1965 as the youngest store manager in J.M. Fields company history. He took on the Chairman role in the Tower Mall Merchants Association in Portsmouth, VA and served on the Board of Directors for Child and Family Guidance in Portsmouth as well. He continued in retail management until 1983 when he moved to upstate New York to work as General Manager for one of the top 20 car wash chains in the U.S. overseeing 16 locations. He was an active member of the NY Car Wash Association and the International Car Wash Association.

In 1996, he became the National Sales Manager for C.A.R. Products, Car Care Products and moved to Florida in 2001 and became the SE Territory Manager for Lustra Car Care Products. He served as a board member for the SE Car Wash Association from 2008-2011 and was awarded the prestigious President’s Award. In 2009 he began his service on the National Advisory Board of Grace for Vet’s a U.S. Veteran service organization. September 2015 Gene was asked to join their Board of Directors! He retired in 2010 and started his own consulting company Clean Gene Car Wash Support. One of his consulting jobs was to evaluate a new product someone had invented. It had so much potential they formed a new company, GMS Electrical Solutions and built an almost indestructible power surge filtration device that prevents damage to all electrical equipment, computers and appliances. In 2014, he was elected to the Chairman of the Board position for the Estero Chamber of Commerce.
